Guidelines: (These are standard & not personal)
Topics: As stated above its is wide open but should fall in the Interactive Media, Digital Marketing, Online Relationship Management & Tech areas.
Length: Whatever it takes to communicate your goal in a clear & easy to understand way. Even if you want to submit a paragraph related to a thought such as Seth Godins blog, I love it because often you can read it in 2 minutes, yet conveys a powerful lesson. So feel free to submit a short or long post, but as you know, most long posts do not get read entirely, break it up and use sub headings.
Reading Level:The most read and shared content one the web is written at a high school level (or below). With that said, I would like to include content that spans basic, intermediate & advanced levels. So use the “language” that is appropriate to communicate the concepts you are trying to get across to your target audience. Editing: I am not an editor and am horrible at that stuff. lol So please edit your posts for spelling and grammar before they are submitted. I will also not edit the content in any way unless it does not meet the next point.
Professionalism: I would ask that you be professional at all times, including not using profanity and derogatory remarks towards someone else. Also, this site is not to be used as a soapbox, please use your personal blog to do so. I reserve the right to remove posts that do not meet this standard.
Format Ideas: Whatever works best for you. (ex. “5″ ways to, How to, straight up blog post)
Exclusivity: I would ask that you not share the post you submit to CROWDSHIFTER.COM with any other site, however after 48 hours feel free to add the post to your website.
Compensation: None. (Sorry) I hope that by by being a contributor and adding value to CROWDSHIFTER.COM, you can receive value though exposure, increased traffic to your website and more business opportunities in the future.
